Lake Wieleńskie is a beautiful and picturesque place that is sure to impress every tourist visiting the area. It's one of the largest lakes in the region, covering approximately 300 hectares. Kayaking trips are particularly popular. For those who want to try their hand at paddling, there are two interesting kayaking trails – the "Lily of the Valley Kayak Trail" and the "Cistercian Kayak Loop." The Lily of the Valley Kayak Trail is exceptionally interesting and well-developed. Furthermore, it's easy, friendly, and full of various attractions. Perfect for family kayaking trips. It's 37 km long and passes through 19 lakes in the Przemęt Landscape Park. If you're looking for a scenic journey through the lakes and surrounding towns, we highly recommend it.

Wieleń won't disappoint those seeking active water recreation. Water sports equipment rentals include kayaks, pedal boats, fishing boats, an Omega sailboat, windsurfing, and stand-up paddleboards.
In the summer season, rides on the lake are also a lot of fun: banana boat, ring boat or wakeboard.

The lake abounds with bream, carp, roach, tench, rudd, silver bream, and bleak. Predatory species include abundant pike-perch and eel. Perch and, less frequently, pike are also found here.

The Wieleń area is surrounded by many fantastic routes, perfect for cycling trips for the whole family; cycling allows you to fully experience and appreciate the beauty of the surrounding nature. Cyclists will find 142 km of marked cycling paths, including: the Kaszczorski Trail (19 km), the Lily of the Valley Trail (31 km), the Sunny Trail (23 km), the Mountain Trail (22 km), and the Cistercian Trail (33 km).

Mushroom picking is one of our national sports, and Greater Poland has excellent conditions for practicing this passion.
From the end of August until late autumn, Wieleń and the surrounding forests become a mecca for mushroom pickers.

A trip to the horse farm in Wieleń is undoubtedly a highlight for horse lovers. The "Stara Stajnia" stud farm has an indoor riding arena and offers carriage rides, horseback riding, saddle riding, and Gypsy camp rides.

The Wolsztyn Locomotive Depot is still a working locomotive depot, where locomotives are dispatched daily to pull scheduled passenger trains on the Poznań route. It is the only place where you can see workshops, machinery, equipment, and other technical facilities used for maintaining and repairing steam locomotives. It is not an open-air museum or open-air museum, created specifically for the display of steam locomotives and their equipment, but a true locomotive depot, operating for over 100 years. Only here can you see a hot, steaming locomotive every day.

A trip to the largest gliding center in Poland is sure to provide an unforgettable experience. The school offers introductory flights in gliders, airplanes, and hot air balloons.
A major attraction for adults and children aged 5 and up is a flight in the largest wind tunnel in Central and Eastern Europe. The flights are organized by the FreeFlyCenter, located at the Gliding School.
In Leszno, it is also worth visiting the Market Square with the Baroque town hall.

In Górsko, visitors can enjoy an exhibition of 300 life-size, life-colored, carved wooden birds native to the Przemęt Landscape Park. The tour is accompanied by natural bird calls. Due to its unique character, the gallery is visited annually by several thousand people from Poland and abroad. Marian Murek, the creator of this unique exhibition, also invites visitors to view life-size sculptures of characters from "Pan Tadeusz," which are the result of international painting and sculpture workshops he organizes.
